“We wish to remind Members of the West Somerset Railway Association that the General Meeting at Crowcombe Village Hall from 11am on 27 February 2016 goes ahead as scheduled, despite claims to the contrary by some. The required number of ‘general meeting calling’ forms from Members were received on 28 January 2016 by two WSRA Trustees and two members of the WSRA staff; after checking (two forms were rejected) and as the WSRA’s Articles require, the WSRA Chairman gave proper notice of the General Meeting to all Members.”

“For those making their way by bus, the stop you need is the “Crowcombe/Stogumber turn” which is only 150 yards or so from Crowcombe Village Hall. Both the 18 and 28 services provide a half-hourly service from central Taunton to Minehead and vice versa, operating via Bishops Lydeard, Williton, Watchet, Washford and Dunster. To get you to the Meeting in plenty of time, Buses of Somerset Service 28 leaves Taunton Bus Station at 8.35am, 9.05am and 9.35am and Webberbus Service 18 leaves Taunton Bus Station at 9.03am and 9.33am. For full bus information, use the links we have provided.”
