Giving the warning in the letter that the current chairman may not be in that post at the time of the EGM, who would be the best person to act as proxy? I cannot make the meeting but am very keen to support this motion.

There’s some guidance at http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-egm3.htm The most important thing to do is put a cross in either the For or Against box. That way the Proxy MUST follow your instruction. We’d also advise you name a trusted person (who is attending the meeting) as your Proxy, although given it looks like independent observers will oversee the vote, it should be safe to put the chairman of the meeting as your Proxy – providing you put a Cross in the Box!

Just put your X in the yes box. Nothing else is needed.

Thanks Peter. The cross (X) in the box is absolutely essential. However, we still strongly advise naming a trusted Proxy rather than defaulting to the “chairman of the meeting”. We hope to issue a new article about our recommendations for completing the Proxy Form. We are just waiting for some feedback from some chums who have offered to be that named, trusted Proxy.

The wording of the EGM3 voting form is different. As I read it on this occasion the Chairman of the meeting has no discretion but has to cast the votes as marked. I am sure RW will confirm this.

Is it my imagination but there is no mention on the WSRA website of the EGM under news?
